ARTIST STATEMENT:

“My work is influenced by remote landscapes I explore, contemplate and navigate. Through these experiences, I use art as a way of expressing my emotions.  For example, the titles of my pieces are a direct link between my emotions and the physical characteristics of the natural world. Emotional experiences and memories may feel new, fade, age and change just as the traits of the land are ever changing. For me, the layers of glass powders I use to create my work stimulate a physical and mental connection of elaborate and subtle lines, colors, and textures found in the places I frequent.”
